Ah, Thanksgiving week. I am counting down the days until I get to plunk piles of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and other glorious Thanksgiving fare on my Chinet plate. But until Thursday, I still need to feed my kid. And I guess my husband, too.
Oh, and did I mention that I offered to cook Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday for my in-laws? What was I thinking? I mean, I was almost in the clear. Exempt from all kitchen responsibility on the biggest culinary day of the year. And then I remembered that damn bird in my deep freezer. And I couldn’t help myself.
Monday: Mini Meatloafs, Mashed Potatoes, Peas
Tuesday: Ravioli, Bread
Wednesday: Dinner courtesy of my in-laws
Thursday: TURKEY DAY, otherwise known as THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR
Friday: Leftovers (hopefully)
Saturday: Pizza with friends
Sunday: Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean/Yellow Bean Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, Dinner Rolls
