I was rehashing my pantry challenge failures this afternoon and am putting out a call for help!

One of our struggles was menu boredom.  It’s not that we eat the same meals every week, but we eat the same types of food every week.  Primarily American, Mexican, and Italian.  And frankly, it all tastes pretty much the same.  So I’ve been doing a little research to see if we can incorporate any new flavors into our menus, but it ain’t easy.

We also all have very different palettes and there seems to be very little overlap.  Matt doesn’t like peppers, onions, winter squash, artichokes, sweet potatoes, or “newfangled” grains like quinoa or couscous.  Allison refuses to eat most vegetables these days, preferring only peas, edamame, corn (if that really counts as a vegetable), spinach on occasion, and sweet potatoes (with brown sugar, of course).

So, what’s a mom to cook??

    Maybe try stirfry. Its quick and easy and you can adjust the veggies to the ones your family likes.

    ????? If you figure it out, let me know! My husband seems to be getting pickier and pickier whereas I'll eat almost anything. And the kids. . . forget about it. My son won't eat anything that touches anything else. He even wipes his fork off between different types of food. So, it's fun watching him eat a casserole! What if you did a 3-bean salad. My kids eat beans. My husband loves it and you could do it alongside burgers one night? Fried rice is really easy to make at home and you could put whatever everyone likes in it. Mushroom fried rice?
