Meal Plan Monday

I interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for a meal planning update.

Actually, that’s not totally accurate.
I got behind on Dora Party posts last week and I still have the best part to show you…  The cake!
But I’m really crappy at writing on the weekends.  So, I guess technically, you are still going to be reading today’s regularly scheduled post because I can’t bump Meal Plan Monday.  That would just be wrong.
So, I guess the cake will have to wait until tomorrow and I’ll bump Tuesday’s post that I have planned (in my head), and so on.  Because I have lots of posts written (in my head).
Moral of this story?  I shouldn’t promise posts on certain days because I suck at fulfilling promises.  And meeting deadlines.  And resisting distractions.  Which is why I was hanging out at the neighbor’s house until past 11pm on Thursday instead of writing a blog post.  I’ll be in my shame hole if you need me.
Monday:  We’re meeting friends for a picnic in the park, so probably just sandwiches and fruit.
Tuesday:  Beef and Vegetable Stirfry, Rice
Wednesday:  Beef Enchiladas, Refried Beans
Thursday:  Crockpot Chicken, Veggies TBD

Friday:  Fish Fries are a big thing in St Louis during Lent, so we’re going to partake even though I had a chicken sandwich last Friday for lunch.

What are you having for dinner this week?

Link up your meal plan to show all us voyeurs what’s going on in your kitchen!

Here’s how it works…

  • Follow Dear Mommy Brain so when I pop up in your reader every week you can imagine me tapping on your shoulder reminding you to write that meal plan!
  • While you’re at it, follow my super-cool blog buddy & hop co-host, Kristy at Darn Near Domestic.  You’ll be glad you did.
  • Link up your weekly meal plan and don’t forget to grab our button to spread the word and recruit more meal planners!

My posts are swirling around in my head too instead of in the "scheduled" section where they should be. Not one single post written for this week…but the night's still young! :)
