You might have noticed that I’ve been in a little bit of a funk lately… The last couple weeks being particularly rough with a recurring sewage back up and a psychotic cat. So, I haven’t been posting as much. And I’m pretty much non-existent on Facebook and Twitter.
But I’m optimistic that the worst is past us and I’m ready to get life back to normal.
What is normal? That would be a Sunday spent watching football and doing laundry. With a little mommy-daughter baking marathon thrown in. Which I was able to justify because we had apples and heavy cream that needed to be used asap. I mean, my bathroom will still be dirty tomorrow, but cream? That should never be wasted.
But this week I need to focus on cooking some food that we can actually use for meals. Because ice cream and angel food cake, while delicious, are not exactly health foods….

Tuesday: PW’s Beans and Cornbread, Applesauce
Wednesday: Pasta with Marinara Sauce
Thursday: Cornbread Stuffing Stuffed Pork Chops, Peas
Friday: Butternut Squash Chips
Saturday: Pot Roast, Potatoes, Carrots
Thank God it’s time for lunch because I’m drooling just typing this.
