All Grown Up

When did my 2 1/2 year old start looking like a preteen?

I am so not ready for that.

It’s grown out in such beautiful layers, I’m afraid to cut it. But it is starting to get a little straggley in the back. And she won’t let me near it. Sad because I miss pig tails!

Um, I’m not sure but you’re spot on with that description. I’m not ready for that either.

Fact – it only gets worse from here on out. My almost-six-year-old daughter was getting ready to leave the house the other day and when i glanced at her grown-up-looking boots, her fashionable outfit, and most importantly the absence of that cute baby fat in her cheeks, I swore I was looking at a little 16-year-old. Scary.
