Now many people might be familiar with a cookie swap, which is an evening of (typically ladies) drinking wine and hanging out with the added bonus of leaving with a tin full of cookies.
But because I can’t do anything simple, I have expanded on the cookie swap and created THE COOKIE PARTY!
Every year for the last 9 years, I have hosted a cookie party at my home for friends and family. We gather a variety of bakers, cram everyone into my kitchen with 15,000 bags of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips and ACTUALLY BAKE all the cookies that night. It is pretty much organized chaos.
But I love spending time in the kitchen with people I care about creating delicious goodies to share. I love it so much, I even based my wedding registry around this annual event.
Now every year since it’s inception, I’ve baked the same cookies. (Which I will ALWAYS bake because I can’t. let. go. of. a. tradition.) But I’m also looking to expand our selection of treats. And I’d be willing to bet that everyone loves to get a new cookie recipe…
So, let’s have our own Cookie Party by linking up our favorite Christmas cookie recipes!
Old or new, just pick your favorite cookie recipe post and add the direct link to the linky below. (Don’t forgot to include the name of your recipe!)
You say you’re Betty Crocker? Then add as many links as you want!
Not only will you get some new visitors over to your virtual kitchen, but we’ll all learn some new must-have cookies for our holiday celebrations! And remember to grab the button above to spread the word!
