The Best Place on Earth…

…is not Disney World.  It’s the City Museum in St. Louis.  There really aren’t words to describe how uniquely amazing this place is, but it is a wonderland of kitschy fun for all ages.

Allison in the ball pit at Toddler Town.  (If you look really closely, you might even be able to see Victoria in there, under all the balls.)

And here she is cruisin’ in a bumper car at Beatnick Bob’s.  She was also handing me all the dropped popcorn from the floor of said bumper car.  Yum.

I have heard fabulous things about that museum! So there are things for kids, too? I’ve mainly heard about the giant tunnel/climbing structure that’s more suited for adults.

There is a Toddler Town with blocks of all sizes, a mini ball pit, and a scaled down slide. Plus there is an art room where they can paint, sculpt, whatever. And Allison really loves the caves. It’s climbing, but much safer than on the rebar Monstrocity. There’s also an aquarium on site (that costs extra). More than anything, it’s 3 floors of awesomeness that is open to exploration.

Oh this is great… we are headed there next weekend for the football game. I hope we have a chance to sneak this place in!

It’s practically within walking distance to the stadium, so when you give up on the Rams because they are getting bludgeoned AGAIN, you can leave the game early and salvage the afternoon with the City Museum! :) (Go Rams)

Ahhh… a fellow STL resident! Well… actually we live in Columbia MO, but just moved here from STL a year ago. Though we only live 2 hrs away, I miss STL like crazy!! We Love, Love, Love the City Museum!
