Right now I am…

…just getting to work.  At 11 o’clock.  Because it took my poor mother-in-law 4 hours to get from her house to mine with 1 inch of snow on the road.  The drive usually takes 50 minutes.

…excited about seeing friends this evening.  We are going to a bounce house play area and I’m hoping that Allison doesn’t cry like she did the last two times we tried to go.

…sad that our Alaska friends are leaving to go back home soon.  There just wasn’t enough time over the holidays to see them as much as I would’ve liked.

…eating pistachios because breakfast seemed so long ago.

…missing my baby girl.  We had a great morning hanging out.  Unplanned playtime is so much fun.

…thankful for a week off in the kitchen.  But ready to get back to my meal plan.

…enjoying cake decorating class.  I attended the first one last night.  We learned how to pipe stars, shells, and strings.  Next week is roses.

…ready for a quiet weekend at home.  My intention is to watch lots of football and maybe start working on the hallway tile.

…watching the snow fall outside my office window and wishing I was at home in my jammies, sitting in front of a fire with a mug of hot chocolate.

What are you doing right now?

  1. I’m actively ignoring the laundry and wondering to myself if videotaping myself getting a brazilian is a bad idea

I don’t think you need anyone to confirm that is a bad idea. Although I’m pretty sure the only way to make money on the internet is porn and I bet there’s someone out there that’s totally into that.

I’m wondering why my husbands doctor has yet to realize that he works for us and that when his office has a McDonald’s drive thru feel it will eventually hurt his bottom line. :/

I am a total doctor snob. After years of bouncing between physicians, I think I finally have a good crew. Don’t hesitate to shop around. It is your health and there are still *a few* doctors out there that care.
