Meal Plan Monday ~ 3.5.12

Something has just been eating my productivity these last couple weeks.  I’m *pretty* sure it might be watching tv.  More specifically, Hoarders.  I found it on NetFlix a few weeks ago and I’ve been watching an episode here and there but Saturday night I WATCHED 4 EPISODES.  And *maybe* 3 episodes earlier while Allison was “napping.”  I think I have a problem.  Is there a support group for people addicted to watching hoarders?

It was nice to be lazy for a couple of days but my house will fall apart if it continues.  Especially with Allison’s birthday party in less than 2 weeks.  And I have so. much. to. do.  Perhaps I’m avoiding the party prep a bit because it makes me sad that my baby is going to be 3.  It just doesn’t seem possible.  But whether I want her to or not, she’s getting older and I better get off my butt and start preparing for it!

Last weekend was an off-shopping week although I did run up to Aldi because I needed a lime for dinner…  And walked out with that, milk, clementines, and cheese.  Not a huge haul, but just evidence that you can never just buy one lime.  Fortunately we are still under budget but only by a few bucks so everything this week will have to come from the pantry or freezer.

Sunday:  Crispy Honey Lime Tilapia (bumped from last week), Flour Tortillas with Honey Butter, Avocado

Monday:  Brinner- probably bacon and eggs

Tuesday:  Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice, Carrots

Wednesday:  Mac ‘n Cheese

Thursday:  Leftovers

Friday:  Steak Fajitas

Saturday: TBD
