I Have Been Saved

By my iPhone, that is.

For nearly a year, I have been in search of an app that would organize my life in a way that could rival the likes of Martha.  And…  I think…  I found it…

Errands To Do List is a task manager that makes it easy to keep track of all my appointments, errands, and household projects.  Like that tile floor that needed to be fixed because the grout came up AGAIN.  It’s really the closest thing I have found to an old-school hand-written list, but improved.  You can set reminders, recurring appointments, and easily edit tasks without all those messy scribbles that pens leave.  (Am I the only one that abandons a to do list once it’s all scratched up with changes?)

I love that it pushes notifications, so I can see how many things need to be done.  And at the end of the day when I update all my completed tasks, I get to see those little red circles disappear.

It’s also super easy to read, with tasks sorted by priority, due date, and category.  You can even customize folders, icons, and alerts to fit your preferences.  Note that little picture of Allison for her appointments.  She looks so sweet and innocent…

And editing is done with just a couple taps, so I can even add something to my list while I’m half asleep in the morning after hitting the snooze button for the third time.  Like having to buy Allison tights for tonight’s first dance class because I just realized the ones in her drawer were 6-12 MONTHS.

So, if you’re looking for a great app to organize your life, I HIGHLY recommend Errands To Do List.  I’ve become like 150% more productive since it’s download.  And no, I wasn’t paid to say that.  I just like awesome things.  I’m like Oprah, but I only give away unsolicited advice.  So maybe that makes me more like Dr. Phil?  Yikes.  Forget I said anything.
